Employment support grant
The civic association DOBRÝ PASTIER currently provides shelter to population groups at risk of poverty or social exclusion and provides social intervention and professional assistance services to more than 700 clients.
The problem
The Good Shepherd o.z. project aims to give population groups at risk of poverty or social exclusion the opportunity to integrate into mainstream social life, including by improving their qualifications, learning to manage their money and finding a stable job.
Objective
The aim of the project "Renewed path" is to help people who are not employed and not registered at the labour office to find their way back into the labour market. Through various on-the-ground activities, social workers will focus on supporting people in finding and gaining employment, providing advice on employment law and finance, identifying personal prerequisites, skills and abilities, and identifying barriers to entering the labour market.
The aim of the project is to help these individuals to successfully enter and remain in employment.
Duration / Course
The project was submitted in early 2024, approved by the Ministry in summer 2024 and implementation started in October 2024. The project will be implemented for 2 years.
Result
This project helps long-term unemployed and inactive people who are at risk of social exclusion to get professional help and advice.
Project results
Increased employment: project participants find stable employment
Development of job skills: they will acquire new skills that will help them succeed in the labour market
Increased self-esteem: With support, participants will boost their self-confidence and motivation
Sustainable employment: The project helps to reduce repeat unemployment
